How to refund WWDC E-Tickets?
I booked an E-ticket for WWDC when Apple opened online booking for the event. Little did I knew then that I might not be able to make it. I am in a fix now, if I don’t attend the event I am likely to lose that whole ticket cost, as I came to know that Apple does not have refund policy there.
Well, for the booking part, I’d say it was all due to the new iPhone hardware fever, which after all may not be launched during the event. Why should I attend the event all for Mac OS X, Snow Leopard and iPhone iPhone OS 3.0? This is something sad and now I am not 100% sure either I might be able to make it to the event for some strange reasons.
You must have thought, I wrote this post to tell you how to claim refund, not actually. I was looking around how to refund and couldn’t land anywhere near. The worst part is you can’t even pass on the ticket to someone. You have to attend or stand to lose the sweet dollars you’ve paid.
If you are also looking for refund option, just want to let you know we are in the same sinking boat. We might have to attend it after all!
Update:
A developer friend told me that there is a way to transfer E-tickets, and that’s good news to me now. Here is the procedure:
1. Login to connect.apple.com
2. Go to activation and click on assets
3. Check and click on the transfer button as displayed in the image
