New iPhone launch would wait for Jobs’ return
It’s sad even to think that there won’t be no new Jesus phone launched during WWDC event as Apple’s god is on leave and would not be delivering the keynote address.
So, if you are going to attend this year’s WWDC, you should not be shocked if Apple does not announce the launch of the new iPhone hardware, which we all have been waiting for so long. Gene Munster of Piper said that the launch of the new iPhone would wait for Steve Jobs’ return.
Phil Schiller would deliver the keynote address (not Jobs) during the WWDC event as Jobs is slated to return in the end of June. Apple is likely to focus on the Mac OS X new version, Snow Leopard and iPhone OS 3.0 during the developers’ conference.
According to the analyst, Apple would host a special event either in late June or early July to launch the family of iPhones. Family of iPhones? This means, we’ll see more than one model.
Moreover, we’ll see the launch of the long awaited 32GB version of the iPhone if we are to believe in the forum posts of a Chinese blog, which has revealed screenshots of the to be launched iPhone 3G 32 GB version.
Do we really have to wait for Jobs’ return to see the new iPhone?
