Simple and endless iPhone game: Falling Gems review
Endless game? Yes, kind of if you can go on making correct moves. Falling Gems is another board game with a simple slide and match theme.
There are no levels; throughout you would have a board filled with 35 color square blocks. All you need to do is slide and move a block one step to group up three or more blocks of the same color to make them vanish. New blocks goes on falling from above. There is no time concept here in the real sense, provided you are quick enough to clear the blocks at an admirable speed.
You have the convenience of moving any of the block up or down and left or right. You can move only one block at a time, remember that. There is a bar that shows your lifeline at the bottom. Your lifeline decreases whenever you make a wrong move, but fill up quick enough if you destroy multiple blocks at a time pretty fast. I called this game as an endless for that.
I am sure, you’ll be able to play it for hours if you are patient, have good eye sight and have a pinch of strategical thinking capability.
The game sound reminds me of that simple, old and addictive game Mario. I like the game there too.
The graphics are simple and goes well with the simplicity of the game.
With Falling Gems, you have the choice to have a quick play or hours of play. Though there are no levels, I often go back to this game to beat my previous high scores. Playing this game somehow has become a daily chore.
Falling Gems is mysteriously addictive despite it’s simplicity. The game demands your full attention and you need hawk like eyes to play this game for hours. You too would see yourself coming back again and again to better your score. It is that addictive and exciting.

There are no levels, Yes. It is more fun that way
C’mon how can you call this as a game at all in the first place. This is a retarded game. Might be good for kids though.
35 blocks? check the math on that, the diagonal can make multiplication tricky..
