Swine flu mania in the App Store: iPhone application coming soon

swine-flu-appIf you have an iPhone or an iPod touch, you’ll find all sorts of applications from useless to super handy, junk to addictive, fart, burp, laugh, flashlight almost everything. This is the reason why the online store at present has more than 35,000 applications just nine months after launch.

Swine flu is giving doctors and researchers restless nights around the world, iPhone app developers are not resting either to bring out applications that can track the spread of the epidemic, to share awareness, tips and symptoms of the sickness through the iPhone.

iHealth News from iHealth Ventures LLC is already doing it’s part bringing health related news directly from webMD, CNN Health and New York Times to the iPhone and iPod touch. As expected, this application is a very handy one serving the right purpose at the right time. There are more apps coming to the iPhone to educate us on this killer disease.

A special swine flu application would be seen in the App Store from InTuApps that gives information about the spreading of the disease and the symptoms, stages, etc. The App is waiting for approval from Apple.

iPhone application development follows a certain trend. I call this present trend as coding at the right moment for the right purpose, though most of you might say that developing applications is a job for super opportunists.

Let’s see how comprehensive it’s going to be. An app. that provides all the information about the disease and also keeps track of it’s spread will certainly be helpful.
