Adult content finally comes to the App Store: Time to enable restriction

hottest-girlsHottest Girls, the first iPhone application featuring nude models and porn stars has seen the App Store daylight.

I know many of you have been waiting for this historic moment and with iPhone OS 3.0 parental control feature Apple has fulfilled their promise to accept “objectionable content” in the App Store, leaving the control part to parents and guardians.

If this is good news for you but have apprehension that some unintended users might access the app, it is time to enable restriction on the phone.

Wondering how to enable restriction?

Go to  Settings > General > Restrictions > enter a 4 digit code and set the Age category at 17+. Once done, the application would not be visible as long as the restriction is active. To view/access the app, you’ll have to disable the restriction.

With this latest development, I am kinda of assuming many adult entertainment companies would be joining the App Store race very soon. This also means that henceforth there won’t be any more app rejection on the ground of ‘objectionable content.’

Update: This application has been pulled from the App Store. Read the detail here.
