Exciting fireball firing iPhone game: Dragon Panic
There is no story about a princess or a cowardly knight in Dragon Panic as Clickgamer claims. I have no hard feelings for that as the game itself is better than any story.
Dragon Panic is a retro style game that revolves around the concept of helping a dragon survive as long as it can on top of a burning volcanic lava.
The game is set in a dungeon like cabin with a dragon trapped in it. When the game begins objects such as, arrows, swords, shields, etc, would start falling from above. The objective of the game is to destroy the objects before they hit the ground. If any of the object hits the ground, it cracks the ground and reveals the burning lava beneath.
Tap on the screen to shoot fireballs from the mouth of the dragon; this destroys the falling objects and also earn points. Tilt the device to move the dragon left or right. You need to do this to avoid the falling objects hitting your dragon, which is instant dead.
As long as you can leave the ground unbroken, the dragon is free to move wherever you want it to go. Once any part of the ground is broken, the mobility space of the dragon also is reduced.
Fireballs are shot at a defined angle. This seemingly is the shortcoming of the game, but I’d say the whole challenge lies there. You need to get the hang of the shooting angle to last really long.
Game sound and graphics are simple but enough to keep you glued to your iPhone for hours. You can choose your favorite dragon to start the fun.
Excitement starts when the ground starts breaking and that is when your heartbeat also increases.
Dragon Panic offers a unique rushing raw excitement that players would enjoy irrespective of age.
