Got the new iPhone 3G S that you have been thinking about and waiting for the past weeks? Well and good. Here is a quick reference on the various use of the home button. (If you are new to the iPhone)

1. Pressing the home button while the phone is locked wakes the phone. 

2. When you are at the home page, pressing the home button once takes you to the search page of the phone.

3. Pressing the home button once when you are in other pages of the phone takes you to the home page

4. Pressing the home button twice takes you to your favorite page. You can set this page to search, phone favorite, camera, iPod etc in the phone’s setting. 

5. Pressing the home button for more than 6 seconds activate the voice control option. This is the feature that allow you to make calls, listen to songs, etc, keeping your hands free
