At present there are more than 50,000 applications and games in the App Store. Some are handy, some are simple and addictive and engaging as games, few are high end games and many are near useless ones. You too know that. 

Pace Race from AVAI Ventures Inc fits into the simple category and is also near useless. It test your patience, your level of concentration and also strain your eyes. However, it is a real challenge. 

When you pop open the game, you’ll see a screen with a messily jumbled up numbers. The number starts from 1 and ends 60. What you need to do is identify and tap the number in its ascending order. There is a time given and the challenge is how much of the numbers you can identify. 

It is really difficult to identify the numbers. They are tiny and the font is sort of unfriendly to the eyes. There is no penalty even when you have tapped on the wrong number sequence. 

When the time is up, you see the average time you take in identifying numbers per second, your local high score, etc. You can enable location service and submit your high score to know how fast or slow you are compared to other Pace Players. 

I find this simple game really frustrating and eye straining. I failed terribly in this quick test. However, some of you would consider this as challenging and addictive; I’ll love to know what makes you think so.
