Wait for iPhone 3.0 ends today and we are still waiting
I was kind of surprised when a friend of mine who hates Apple and even the iPhone asked me: “What time is the 3.0 releasing?” My reaction was a natural whatta…! Well, he doesn’t even have an iPhone.
I totally agree that he could have heard about the iPhone 3.0, but what I don’t understand here is why and how he got suddenly interested in the iPhone operating system. Maybe he has heard enough of the iPhone 3G S and the iPhone OS in his work place, in the streets and elsewhere. Anyways, that was a good shocker and this perhaps is undoubtedly Apple Magic.
Apple demoed iPhone OS 3.0 back in March and the software has gone through many stage of testing. The rumors, speculation and the mystery of the OS we’ve discussed so far were all great. We are now about to see it first hand and I know many of you are waiting too like me. It has been a long wait.
At this final stage, the wait has become really restless, Kevin is getting sort of hysteric and I am trying my best not to or at least not to show. There are many reports about the possible time of the release and all the predictions are getting extended. Apple seems not in the mood to make it early. Is it possible that we are going to wait till late night?

Why does Apple want us to wait clueless like this? The company is sadistic. As if we don’t have better things to do than to wait like morons.

It is annoying waiting for this update. But think how much publicity it’s getting. People won’t forget the waiting today in a hurry and it’s just free publicity for iPhone. Think of all the twitter/facebook updates and news articles across the web.
i fear that there is mass confusion over release times… “17th” in some countries is not the same all over the globe… im in the UK and been waiting since early hours with no luck yet! word is that its arrival is 6pm GMT
It’s already morning of June 18 in Japan now. It’s time to see the iPhone OS 3.0 already. How much longer?
