Dictionary HaHa to make you laugh, smile or cry: iPhone app review

untitled-11“Bruise Lee – An accident prone martial arts instructor”. If that definition makes you go HaHa, then Dictionary HaHa has achieved its aim. Even if not, I don’t think the developers will mind much, for the whole idea is not to take the definitions too seriously. Some of puns are quite clever, and it might make you go Aha!

It features a bunch of categories from Animals and Music to Nature and Religion that you can rifle through. Or you can just hit the random tab for a quick laugh. The ‘hey, hey, hey’ or the navigating sounds don’t make things any funnier; the good thing about them is that they have a mute option.

If you find the existing definitions absurd and want to add your superior intelligence to it, you can submit your own quips and puns. You have the glorious opportunity of having your names mentioned in the credits.

Utility Warrior gives you the freedom to groan if you don’t find the definitions amusing. I found myself doing more of that, so you’ll wonder if it’s worth reading or even downloading. But whatta heck, it’s free! As nasty as it sounds, I can’t help but say, ‘If you can’t laugh with them, laugh at them.” HaHa.

Hmm! Are we on the way to build uncyclopedia version for the iPhone?
