Eyestorm brings exciting JezzBall game fun to the App Store: iPhone game review

If you like JezzBall, there are added features that would make you spend extra hours with Eyestorm from Vivid Apps. In this new game you are out to corner your enemies and also cover up the screen with blocks to extend your conquest.

Dr. Eyequeue has deployed his evil eye soldiers to bring the earth to doom. You have the power to build blocks that can trap the evil eyes and make them immobile. Fill major portion of the screen to beat the enemies. When the evil soldiers hit your incomplete wall, you lose a precious life and your defeat too become certain.

The number of eye enemies increase and the way they move become unpredictable as you advance through the equally exciting 48 levels. There are also different types of enemies with special powers and capabilities. Some enemies can simply crash the wall that you have build with their wicked magic.

The evil eyes bounce from left to right top to bottom that makes your attempts to build walls and blocks really challenging. To build blocks, you simply need to swipe your finger across, up or down. Each of the 48 levels offer unique fun and excitement.

You are running against time, that is one of the challenges. The other challenge is you need to do a neat calculation of where and when to build the blocks.

The different levels are like a journey, you’ll pass through rocks, desert, hills, swamp, cities, buildings and even space if you are good enough in making to the higher levels. I have not reached there yet.

While the game is meant to be a progressive one, you are given to choice to replay and beat the level where you failed rather than pushing you back to the beginning. There is a touch of forgiveness. I don’t find much excitement in the game music. However, I have the option to play my own music, so no hard feelings there.

You can submit your score if your are confident that you could have hit the global high score. Lemme warn you it’s not easy though.

Eyestorm is a perfect remake of an exciting puzzle and action game that has been made even better.
