Google’s Eric Schmidt is BlackBerry addicted
What does it imply if you have a lawn mower but borrows your neighbor’s machine to trim your lawn? One, yours ain’t working properly or two you are being mean keeping aside yours fearing wear and tear.
The same question pops up in my gadget conditioned mind seeing the photo of Google’s CEO, Eric Schmidt holding a BlackBerry. Where are all those Android based phones? Do they all suck that even the head priest can’t imagine to use one, at least for prestige’s sake?
Never mind! Schmidt, after all is also a human being and most of all an influential decision maker who needs all those enterprise features on BlackBerry.
Oh before I forget, lemme clarify that it’s a BlackBerry Curve 8900. It’s not a crime to borrow your neighbors machine if yours ain’t working or is too clumsy to use. You should only remember not to inscribe your name or do any naughty customization on it because it’s not yours. Well, Schmidt just did that and I’d say it is cheating in some way. Google logo is neatly inscribed on the back of the Curve. Don’t mind that too, he paid for the phone not me or you!
Well, we are discussing this because Schmidt can’t resist flipping out his Curve at Allen and Co Sun Valley, media summit in Idaho to snap a picture. That was an unlucky shot Eric, better luck next time.
This is more exciting than Google’s recent announcement that Gmail has no beta tag anymore. Eric, we’d love to know your Gmail account just to know you are using that at least.

So the guy who comes up with Android, and sits on the board of Apple, which makes the iPhone, is actually a BlackBerry user?
I like that!
