iPhone 3GS Voice Control tips
If you think that Voice control on your iPhone 3GS ain’t working very well, it’s very likely that you are not using it in the right way.
Check these simple tips to make it work effectively.
You can either use the built in microphone or the headset for using the feature. If you are using the headset, let the microphone hang freely without holding the cord. Do not try to bring it closer to your mouth.
If you are using the built in microphone, hold the device like the same way you make telephone calls. If you however, want to hold it in front of you, hold it upto 12 inches away from your mouth for best results.
While using voice control, speak only when the speak command is finished and the beep is completed.
For making voice dial, try to say the full name of those contacts that have common names. You may also need to make necessary edits to those common names in your contact list.
For playing music, command the device to play particular album, playlist and artist. Particular songs cannot be played using the voice control feature.
