Yo ho! I am a little late in reporting this, but it’s still worth some cents. Apple has released the beta 2 version of iPhone OS 3.1 and SDK. Registered developers, go ahead and download the OS, discover the secrets and let the iWorld hear about the tidbit features.
And those of you who not registered but are tempted to test the beta OS, heed Apple’s warning: “These versions are for development and testing only and should be installed on devices dedicated to iPhone OS 3.1 beta software development.”
Some of the features known so far are the option to send applications for testing via bluetooth instead of the usual USB tethering and new screen/tab names in video editing page “Trim Original” and “Save As….”
There gotta be many more features to be discovered. We’ll let you know as they come pouring in.
