iPhone OS 3.1. beta 3 features
Apple released iPhone OS 3.1 beta 3 version early Tuesday, there are many minor feature tweaks as expected. The most noteworthy feature is the copy/paste option for sending video files.
It works the like copy and pasting images to mail them. You simply need to tap and hold to copy any video, go to mail tap and hold to paste again and share it on the fly. Hmm, you’ll only need to make sure that the files are acceptable to mail clients for receiving and sending. No big videos, please.
Another important change is the display inside data usage page under General settings. 3.1 beta 3 displays separate info for tethering and cellular network data usage.
I had some undiagnosed error while trying to update my iPod to beta 2.
Thank goodness, beta 3 is working fine without the display of that internal error message.
Tuesdays are lucky days for Apple and two weeks gap seems to be ideal for pumping out beta versions of iPhone OS and SDK, not bad!
