seek-n-spell Remember the days you run around in the park and open space as a child? It was kind of a game without any rules. Seek n Spell is an innovative iPhone game that allows you to relive those memories, you have to run and find something.

In this game, you basically have to run around and play scrabble with your friends holding your iPhone collecting scattered letters to form words. A cool GPS based games. You’ll have to look for the virtual letters in the open space with your iPhone as the guide.

Get your iPhone, invite few friends who also have iPhones and select an open space, the size of a football field. Launch Seek n Spell, enter your initials and decide how long you want to play the game. The game would load the map of the area you are in and scatter virtual letters on the field which would be displayed on the screen.

Now, you have to run around, collect the letters and form words out of the collected letters.

Your score depends on the number of words formed and the letter combinations. You can store up to ten letters on the letter tray. You simply have to tap on the collected letters to form words and hit the submit button.

Seek n Spell supports a maximum number of ten players and the gameplay can last for 30 minutes.

Well, you can play the game alone too (which won’t be fun, though). However, you can always play with one device and ask your friend to beat your score when you have done your running and scrabbling.

Seek n Spell is one beautifully implemented game for which it was awarded Best Use of Technology Award in the 2009 Come Out and Play Festival in New York.
