Will we ever see Apple’s Netbook?

apple-netbook2No, if we are to believe what Peter Oppenheimer said during Apple’s Q3 conference call. He cited that most Netbooks are slow, build on old technology and user unfriendly and said: “we only play in things where we can be very innovative and be proud of.” So, you mean to say, Apple wouldn’t be able to make a Netbook that they can be proud of  huh!

However, a Netbook is likely, if you recall what Steve Jobs and Tim Cook said once that the company is watching at the possibilities.

We have bragged a lot about Apple’s Netbook; some reports goes to the extent of saying that the device between the Macbook line and the iPhone would be launched in October. Apple as usual is taking the rumors of Netbook hopefuls lightly as is their secretive way.

Even if the company introduce a Netbook, we’ll get to know only when the product is about to launch. That is one thing that makes us feverish about Apple products, of course they always good too. Foxconn might already have started assembling the Netbook if the launch is slated for October or late 2009.

For now, Apple is glad enough that they have silenced our curiosity with the stunning iPhone 3GS sales figure and the impending scarcity of the device. Will you line up for the Netbook if Apple really does introduce their own?
