Astronome Tap Challenge tests your reflexes on the iPhone

astronome-tap-challengeIf I were a jobless bum on the roadside for whom the most interesting thing is watching cloud bunnies, then Astronome Tap Challenge would probably rock my world. But when I have more than 65,000 other apps to check out in the App Store, Astronome Tap Challenge, as challenging as the name sounds, fails to amuse me for long.

It doesn’t take an Einstein to figure out how to play the game, so that could be its redeeming feature. Just tap on the grey marker when the spaceship lights reach the bottom. It is simple but not easy, mind you. You need to establish a certain beat to get the tap right every time.

You tap correctly a 100 times, and you unlock the bonus mode. One thing you should know is that every time you miss a tap, you have to start all over again. So it’s going to take a lot of patience to win this challenge.

Your present score is displayed at the bottom of the screen, as well as your best score. You can also tap your way to online glory by submitting your score online.

It will set you back $2.99, which is generally more than other iPhone games, so perhaps you would also like to consider whether it’s worth the amount.

But as unappealing as the game is to me, for someone else it may be addictive. Now, that does not mean I am accusing you of being a jobless bum, just that we like different kinds of challenges. May peace reign in the App Store world!
