AudioPeople adds jazz to Facebook; iPhone app review

audiopeopleI think I just convinced two of my friends to get an iPhone. And no, I did not threaten them mafia style or even lure them with all the pizzazz of an ad wiz. All I did was post a simple audio message on their Facebook walls using AudioPeople. And now they are like, “How did you do that? We wanna do it too!”

I figure that if non-iPhone users can be so blown away by this app, then it should make a lot of iPhone users grin with joy. The simplicity of it all is also a thing to behold. Log into your Facebook account on your iPhone, choose a contact from your friend list, and leave a voicemail.

You can stop, play or retry the recording. There is also the option to add a description about your post. After you are satisfied and have said all you want to, touch the post tab, and voila, it’s on your friend’s wall!

It takes Facebooking to a whole new level called coolness. I mean, there are just so many links and images and videos that we can post on a wall. But when you are saying Happy Birthday or just about anything in your own awesome voice, your wall post is sure gonna stand out.

The crux of the matter is, it works. The audio is very clear, and though I encountered an error message once or twice when I tried to post my message, it wasn’t much of a bother.

People operating technology sure have a way of impressing people and making jaws drop. These are the guys who came up with the Blockdrop Icon Trick, Magnetic Personalities and Animal Fun Time. We got a little into their people operating heads a while ago with Jason Petralia, and it was quite an insight.

AudioPeople, I like!

I have to admit that your weblog is extraordinarily topical. I’ve been investing loads of effort within the last couple months on the lookout at what is available influenced by simple fact that I’m arranging to launch a blog. The important info you have put together here is more or less to the point. It just feels so unclear in regards to all the tools that are to choose from, but I enjoy the way your is visually. Gotta adore where technological innovation has come during the past 20 yrs.
