You like zombies? Kill them! You hate them? Then take them down mercilessly. Here is yet another zombie game that you’d enjoy if you like ZombieGame, Zombies VS Sheep and other zombie games in the App Store. Dead Panic is the latest addition to this “dead among the living” genre.
Zombies are all over the town and it’s your duty to strategically station your army to take them down so as to save the denizens of New Jersey, New York and Long Island. Hordes and hordes of bloodthirsty zombies are coming to wage a seemingly endless war against the living.
Dead Panic actually is a very simple game but fun in its own way. Place the soldiers in strategic positions where they can cover fire each other during intense fight with the zombies. In some of the missions you’re allowed to drag and place soldiers in desired positions before starting.
The number of soldiers varies based on the location and types of mission. The most forgiving feature of the game is that the soldiers do not shoot each other even if their muzzles are pointed at each other.
The range of the gunfire is displayed in a torchlight like green ray. Well, the guns fire automatically when the zombies come into the firing range; all you need to do is tap on the soldiers and direct their guns toward the unfriendly zombies.
Your mission is deemed to fail if most of the soldiers die before killing the required number of zombies you are suppose to take down at each level.
Graphics are passable though not stunning. Game sounds go well with the rush and excitement of the game. I kinda feel the pain when the soldiers groan when the zombies attack them.
