Fishtank-Manager on the iPhone; fish your way to riches

fishtank-managerTime to gear up for some fishy business. It’s always quaint and nice to have lil fishes in bowls and make the occasional fish face at them, but how about getting things more business savvy? Fishtank-Manager has you catching and rearing and selling fishes and preventing them from being eaten up all at the same time. Phew!

Just as birds of the same feather flock together, fishes of the same type breed together. So make sure that the same types of fishes are gathered in one aquarium. You can do so by dragging and dropping them to the aquarium when they are swimming by.

The fishes multiply real fast; as soon as you get two fishes in one tank, another fish is formed. Told you, it’s fast! Make sure that you don’t put more than five fishes in a single tank, because that screams ‘overcrowded’, and your fishes will die.

There is no point in dirtying your hands if you are not getting anywhere, right? So that’s where the selling option comes in. To sell, again drag the required fish tank to the ‘bubble’ which indicates what kind of fish is wanted for sale. You get points when you sell the fish, and progress to more levels when you do so. You can choose between three game modes – Normal, Crazy and Chill.

Now that we are done with the explanation, let us get down to the nitty-gritty of things. Is Fishtank-Manager exciting? Nope. Is it addictive? Nope. The fishes are supposed to be “cute and crazy comic fishes”, but I think the graphics border just on average. Now don’t think that I have any grudge against this particular game. I am saying ‘nope’ according to me. It might just be perfect for a casual gamer though, so if you like to play it cool, you should like it well enough.
