And I thought that Paris Hilton was the only one proud of being dumb and displaying it like no one cares. But lo and behold, here is Mr. Dumb – Go Down, to let us be exactly that, dumb and happy about it.

We have not one but three dumb characters to choose from. The developers have intended for them to be ‘very funny and ugly’, but I really don’t get the point of that. But whatta heck! Let us be as grotesque looking and dim-witted for once (Thank heavens it’s just a game)

But where does Mr. Dumb have to get down from? The spot is on top of a tree somewhere in the middle of National Park, where our hero had climbed up to get a beehive. Our wise input is to help him get down by stepping on the branches of the tree.

If only the tree were as dumb and harmless as him. But no, there are rotten branches and thorn bushes on the way, and how can we forget the swarm of bees right at Mr. Dumb’s back? To climb down, use your finger to help him from one branch to another. I found the controls slow; can’t help but say that it is rather dumb and slow to respond.

The health meter and information panel at the bottom shows how well you are progressing down the tree. If you get stung by bees and step on thorn bushes, your health meter goes down and you will be out of the game if it runs out on you. The game play becomes faster the more we climb down.

I think the problem with this application is that the developers think the gamers are dumb as Mr. Dumb himself. That is a big mistake if ever I saw one. The graphics are good, but hey, we are not really that dumb, so we want more excitement in the game play. And while at it, add better controls, please.
