Let me start with a clear warning here – You will either love this app or it might just gross you out. Shave Me from Metaversal Studios lets you shave the hairy interface with your finger. You can also write messages or draw pictures, but I seriously wonder if anyone would appreciate it if you wrote them a message on hair.

If you think that you can make a roughshod job outta shaving, then think twice. Shave Me takes shaving to an artistic level, well, almost. If you make a cut, you get the inevitable blood. The vibration tells you that you have slipped up. You can actually get better at it and might even get to be a knick-free maestro.

If you are not satisfied with your shaving skills, you can start over and grow hair by shaking your iPhone or iPod Touch. I think that this is one of those applications that are not to be taken too seriously. I found it fun the first time I tried it out, but I didn’t find it addictive.

But I wouldn’t rule out it being absolutely the discovery of the year for some user. I mean, someone could actually achieve Zen-like status shaving hair, bit by bit, row by row, end to end…
