Hey, I have seen this snake before! And no, it was not in the Garden of Eden, but on an old Nokia phone. The classic snake game is back with challenging levels and exciting game play, and it’s more fun than ever.

Snake XT has two game play modes – Arcade and Challenge. The Arcade mode has 7 worlds divided into 28 levels. The job at hand is to guide the snake to collect all the pellets and make it evolve into a more menacing breed. Be careful not to bump into any obstacles though, or the snake will lose one of the 5 lives. As you slither your way through the levels, the number of pellets, obstacles and the speed also increases.

A simple tap in the direction where you want the snake to go takes care of the maneuvering. The game controls are real smart, and so there are no frustrated repeated taps on the screen.

There are two difficulty modes in the Challenge mode. The beginner mode is not very different from the arcade mode in terms of points and speed, but the legendary mode is double quick on these aspects.

Just as there are obstacles, there are bonuses too. The lady bug makes your snake move faster, and the shield saves it from an obstacle once. Collecting the frog means a bonus life, while the leprechaun is a bumper bonus hit. But beware of the skull, for a single brush with it takes away a life.

Snake XT has amazing graphics, and that’s why it’s such a cool game. It is already a favorite classic, so to it have it all jazzed up makes for great game play.
