Swine flu has become a pandemic and soon could be one of the deadly diseases in human history, if necessary preventive measures are not put in place on time. Spreading of information, educating people about the flu, researching and timely mass production of vaccines are some of the measures that would check the spread and control of the killer flu. 

I’ve come across many flash games on the web to make gamers and Internet users to know about the disease, I’d say it’s a smart strategy of spreading awareness. The App Store is doing its part in spreading awareness about swine flu. There are more than three dozens of swine flu apps in the App Store at present. 

Most of the applications, as expected are games and entertainment applications. Some applications are simply for tracking information about the sickness. Most of all, there are also some super handy and informative medical applications.

If playing games can spread awareness, why shouldn’t we all do that, I am already doing my part on the Internet and on my iPhone.
