T-Mobile is doing the same for its loyal customers who are also high spenders who wants an iPhone. The network carrier imported undisclosed number of officially unlocked iPhone 3G units from a European distributor. Those imported iPhones are exclusively for customers who are threatening to switch carrier all for the iPhone.

If you are T-Mobile customer who spends £70 plus a month and have been whining for the iPhone, just tell them that you’re switching carrier to get your hands on the iPhone. You’ll instantly get a brand new iPhone 3G. Hmm, not a bad deal.

At present, O2 UK is the exclusive supplier of iPhones in the UK and there have been rumors that T-Mobile and Orange could join in the distribution race when the contract between Apple and O2 expires. As the contract hasn’t expired yet, T-Mobile’s strategy to please its customers with iPhone 3G pies could anger O2, and big brother Apple might be feeling furious too. Well, we’ll have to wait for the reactions.
