Rumors and common sense have won this time, logic have failed. Apple annual iPod Event is going to be held on Wednesday, September 9. 

Official keynote of the event would begin at 10 am Pacific Time at Yarba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. This year’s music treat will be called “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it,” according to the official announcement. 

In preparation for the upcoming Apple Event, the company has discontinued the supply of current iPods, which very much suggest that camera sporting iPods are on the way.

How about the much talked iTunes 9 with Social Networking features? Lets all hope it is in cart too. 

Would it be too early to expect the release of iPhone OS 3.1? Forget all those long awaited pies not to be disappointed if Apple choose to withhold them. I would be more than happy if MMS and Tethering are let out of the box post the Music Event.
