This application is rather like warm beer. The name sounds exciting; what else would you think when you got the words ‘beer’ and ‘challenge’ together? But when I tried it out, I found that the excitement lost some of its fizzle.

The game play is simple; just touch the mug on the screen and push it in the direction of the finish marker. iBeer Challenge has graphics that allow real physics simulation, so the mug slides across the bar countertop convincingly enough.

And even though the application is named so, we can choose between a wine, whisky, beer and stout beer glass. The direction of the hand pushing the glass can be towards the left or right. The distance is also measured out each time, so we can see how far we pushed the mug.

Maybe it’s because I had too high an expectation, but iBeer Challenge fell flat for me. There is a possibility that my friends might love it, and it could be a good party game then. But I don’t see myself playing it time and again. Sorry, EzMoBo!
