iPhone game to rake your puzzle cracking skills: Boxed In
Boxed In from Dennis Mengelt is one simple but extraordinarily challenging puzzle game to frustrate you if you are not good at cracking puzzles; for puzzle lovers it is one game to keep you glued to your iPhones for hours.
If you’ve played games like Nintaii, Bobby Carrot Forever, Mouse House, Archibald’s Adventure, etc, you already know the game play of Boxed In. Boxed In requires you to control a robot, move boxes to toggle switches and explore around collecting wheels to complete the levels. There are brain burning 50 levels.
The game rule is simple: The robot knows only how to push the boxes and can push only one box at a time. So all the way, you’ve to avoid pushing the boxes to a corner where you can’t pull them out later to proceed or move around. You can hit the restart button to start the level afresh. The developer has incorporated undo option to undo your last move in the latest version.
The whole challenge of the game lies in finding the right sequence of pushing the boxes, the right box to insert into the floor switches to deactivate the forcefields. Many iPhone users are on Boxed In cart. If you are stuck in any of the levels, you have no reasons to fret, you’ll find solutions to most of the challenging levels on YouTube.
Control schemes are simple too; you simply have to swipe up or down or across anywhere on the iPhone screen to move the robot in the desired direction. With this deal I don’t miss the d-pad like dedicated button that most often make the screen look clunky.
Boxed In gives you the option to play any of the 50 levels without the need to play the preceding level to take the more challenging level that follows. However, there is a green check-mark to distinguish the levels you’ve passed from those which you are yet to crack.
One thing that I miss most in the game is a matching game sound. Boxed In is a mute game, which is kinda strange. However, you can play your favorite songs while you are with Boxed In.
All these fun are for FREE at least for now. It used to be a paid game. Free and exciting games are always welcome here.
