Rack your brains with Block Drop on the iPhone

block-drop1Right now if I had to make a sure bet on a puzzle game in the App Store, it would have to be Block Drop developed by Dan Russell Pinson. This game has amazing graphics and challenging game play, and hundreds of levels of it all.
In Block Drop, we have to move from one block to another and sink each one of them to reach the checkered flag representing the finish line. We can move either one or two steps at a time with the help of the controls at the bottom left and right of the screen. When we move to another block, the block we were on sinks into the water, so each step has to be thought out carefully. A wrong move, and we could land in the water and go back to the start of the level.
As mentioned before, Block Drop has 999 levels to jump through. Each one of them poses a different challenge, so the game play doesn’t get monotonous. It is a game that you can sit back, relax and play, but at the same time it calls forth your strategizing skills to the max.
In case we get stuck and can’t find a way out, the show solution option helps us to escape by showing just how to. There is a high score board, so somewhere along the way to the final 999 block, you could become the highest scorer.
The interface with the calm water surface is very appealing, and it’s remarkable how hours can go by playing this game. Block Drop is a definite must-have for all puzzle game fans.
