I’ve been avoiding the fart applications like a proper lady, but I finally got down to reviewing one of them. I picked Liang Sai’s AHMMM OH YEAH PRO. With a name like that, it is rather hard to miss. So I started to explore it with much bravado, which means I did not don a gas mask.

The game is all about learning how to camouflage our farting when in public, and in this case, at the bus stop. There are two characters and we can choose either of them according to gender. Some cars are designated as ‘near’ cars, and they come close to where the characters are standing. The ‘far’ cars are on the other side of the road and don’t come as close.

The fart mission is to release gas when the near cars pass by, so that it does not get noticed. There is a fart button on the bottom right corner to press just when the time to fart is right. Every fart racks up points for us. In case we keep holding in all the gas, the fart meter will shoot up beyond its limit and release such a powerful fart that it will kick us out of the game.

If we also get the timing wrong, the person standing next to us will hear us, and apart from being embarrassed, the game ends for us.

To my surprise I quite liked this game. Some other fart apps I’ve seen around in the App Store seem to be obsessed only with the sound, but this one is actually a game that we can enjoy. The graphics are well executed, and the controls work great. There is a Lite version that we can try out too, and I’d say it is worth trying. This one is not just full of foul air.
