Ask questions using pictures with QpixL on the iPhone

qpixlIt is said that a picture can speak a thousand words. It can also ask a question, and more effectively than a thousand words can. Okay, let me stop going around in circles here. I just want to drive home the point that the folks at Sprows Solutions are getting at – Questions are more fun with pictures.

QpixL is their offering, and with this application we can upload a picture onto Twitter and Facebook, and pose a question with it to our friends. The whole process is very simple. We just need to take a picture with our iPhones, log into either of the social networking sites from the app itself, upload it, and type in the question.

The question appears in our news feed on the site, and friends can follow the link to give their opinion. It is hassle free for them too, for they don’t have to register or anything to give their answers. The answers are streamed back to our iPhones.

Now, while this may seem like a fun little application, it goes beyond that to be quite useful too. Our friends’ opinions matter to us most, and QpixL is a great way to make up our minds about stuff that we can, of course, capture in pictures.

There is a tab to view the top 20 questions and pitch in with our own thoughts if we want to. The good bit about QpixL is that it works well; there are no problems with uploading the pictures or for people answering to them. It would be nice if we could upload more than one picture in case we want friends to decide between two or things.

QpixL is one application that brings together both the iPhone and social networking sites to make pictures more exciting. Sprows Solutions have done a good job on this one, and the icing on the cake is that it is all free.
