Halloween just got better with this new application that I came across today. And just like the holiday, Crack O’ Lantern is also a family affair. It is a very simple game to play, but has lots of fun packed into it.

We can crack the pumpkins by dragging them to the ground first, and then smash them against the walls. The graphics are enough to tempt us into playing the game, and as the game progresses, we find out that it is quite challenging too.

The three difficulty modes ensure that there is a level for everyone here. While kids may like to try out the Easy mode, older ones can take on the Hard mode. And then there is the Simply Impassable mode which is a tough nut to crack.

Crack O’ Lantern has 20 levels of game play, and the levels get more difficult and well as have variations thrown in. Soon I found myself dodging spikes and sharp objects coming from all sides to burst my pumpkins.

The game works well because of its family appeal, but that’s not to say that we can’t play it on our own. The amazing graphics and soundtrack complement the game well. I can see myself playing this game all round and not just at Halloween. Five stars to Artisan Dream!
