Pair Pictures on the iPhone is a good way to test memory
Pair Pictures is not a new concept and the game has been around for as long as I can remember, well, as far back as my childhood days. We simply have to flip open cards and try to match two pictures of the same kind. Besides having fun, the real purpose of the game is to test and sharpen our memory skills.
Let us see how well Pair Picture does as one of such games. The first thing is notice is the colorful interface with a blue theme. There are three tabs for high scores, option for the sound, and the start tab. The start tab takes us to the game, as expected. We further have options to choose between a 4×4 and 6×6 game board.
The pictures are quite random and range from an umbrella to a television to a party hat. I guess that helps to work our memory that little bit more. We just have to touch the cards to open them up. Our scores are saved each time we play a game, so we can see whether we are improving or maybe losing our memory.
It would be nice if there was a timer mode so that we can test if we can pair all the pictures within a certain time frame. Also, different games with more pictures would be an extra treat.
Pair Pictures works well enough with the concept and has nice graphics. A good one to play and exercise our memory, but not much of an addictive game.
