Block Busting Planet Panic takes us to an alien planet where our ship has crashed, and we have to gather all the bits and pieces again to make it back to wherever we came from. We have our spaceship rover to fulfill this mission, but he is rather fragile, and we have to use him with the utmost care. He has a rather large egg-like object perched on his back, and one slight mistake will crack it.

Our job is to make sure that the rover does not hit the ground while gathering the components. We can harvest the rusted blocks for parts; a touch on the block is how we harvest it. However, the metal blocks cannot be harvested, while the liquid blocks can be destroyed. The latter can be quite slippery, so they require a balancing trick. When we have successfully managed to harvest the rusted blocks without our rover still in one piece, we are awarded by progressing to the next level.

The levels come in five sets of ten levels each. We need to complete eight levels before we can move on to the next set. In addition to this, there are eight achievements to challenge us on our block busting endeavor. Even losing 150 times is an achievement, so we need not worry about some high performance awards.

All the levels have been named after their own unique style. There is Witch Doctor, Snake Eye and Tall Fall, to name a few. We can scroll through the levels and see the best times for all of them.

The physics in Block Busting Planet Panic works great and makes the game play a smooth experience. The artwork has been very well executed too, and I love the colorful alien landscape. This is one game that is addictive with a capital A.
