This is a good game to see how good we are at keeping things on the right track.  In Exit Lanes, we have to take control of where the traffic is going and make sure they exit in the right direction. There are four different vehicles in five colors here, and our job is to guide them towards the similarly colored exit lane.

Sounds simple? Well, not really. Things can get pretty messy after a while, but thankfully we can have it all sorted out if we act right and on time. We can find out just how to in the instructions. To direct a car to the right lane, we can swipe left or right. When they are on the right lane and there are cars coming up behind, we can make them go faster by swiping again towards the exit.

To put things into order, we can direct the flow of traffic by stopping a car simply by tapping on it, and making it move again in the same way. We got to be careful though, for some cars come at a really high speed and we need to steer them onto their respective lanes. All the while we have to make sure that they don’t bump into each other, for an accident can cost us the game. When the cars get too close to each other, we get a red warning telling us about the impending doom.

We have 5 lives, and we lose them when we drive into the wrong exit. The cars are colored blue, white, black, brown and red. There is an exit for each color, except for two white colored exits.

This game reminds me of Car Mania and Railroad madness because of all the traffic confusion. But I like the controls in this one much better, for they are smoother and respond well. Code Democracy has announced that there will be more maps which is very welcome, for it would be fun to explore new lanes. A global scoreboard is also in the pipeline, and that should add some challenge to the game.

All these updates should make the game play more interesting, but even as it is, Exit Lanes is a cool game that will drive boredom away anytime. Go ahead and take your strategic skills for a test drive.
