Keeping track of CMEs gets easy on the iPhone
CMEs surely couldn’t have been this effortless to keep organized. A medical doctor has his hands full enough with all his professional work, and juggling all the CMEs in all the various forms will be far from easy. But a professional has got to do what he has got to do, and CMEs are an integral part of keeping up to date of the latest happenings in the medical field.
iCME helps keep all these activities in order with an easy to use format on the iPhone. We can note the particulars of each event and note down information like the Title, the Date when it will begin and end, the Author, Topic, the Hours it will take to be completed, and also any extra Notes that we wish to add.
It is divided into seventeen different types such as Audit, Book, Book Chapter, Conference, Course, Grand Round, Journal Article, etc. Furthermore, we can arrange the CMEs according to the date on which they are taking place or in alphabetical order. The application allows us to mail this list to anyone we want to. If there are any planned CMEs in the offing, it can be planned right on iCME itself. It is also possible to keep a tab on events that have gone past the due date.
The list can be easily accessed by looking for a specific event by typing in the search tab. And if we have made a presentation at any event, it can be highlighted for easy reference.
iCME has a clean interface that is easy to use and also pleasant to look at. But the best quality about it has got to be its utility. It makes keeping sense of the hectic CMEs much easier, and that should be a welcome relief for any health professional.
