What TriptIt – Travel Organizer does it to plan out our entire travel itinerary for us once we have mailed all the information to an email id provided on the application. So that means that the deluge of emails from various travel service providers (read as hotels, airlines, travel agents/companies) are sorted, arranged and updated for us by TripIt. Like they put it, “Send us the plans. We do the rest.”

I checked out the sample master itinerary on the site and liked it immensely. We can put in little notes and pictures, and important aspects like local maps and daily weather. With our own personal touches added to it, it even makes the whole trip look more interesting, and, of course, much more convenient.

Sharing our travel plans with our family and friends is also a breeze. We have the options to do this through email or we can generate a link that will let others have direct access to our itinerary. Better and simpler still, we can announce it right on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with no hassle at all.

We can access TripIt – Travel Organizer in different ways. It’s available on the iPhone in both online and offline modes. TripIt Mobile takes care of availability on other mobiles too besides the iPhone. Plus we can also shoot off a quick email to enquire about our itinerary.
