DexIQ is a great way of finding out if we are as good as we think we are, or worse, or even the possibility that we might stun ourselves with the brilliant results. This application gives us more of an aura of glory than other ordinary IQ tests, for it tests both our IQ and dexterity. That too not one after the other, but at the same time, and on the same screen.

In line with the premise that our brain is divided into two halves, Spicy Pony Games has developed this application that challenges both our intelligence and reflexes at one go. The screen in split into two halves, and both equally require our attention as we try to keep the momentum going and not slip up less we lose points.

There are 8 stages of 32 different games that will test us like never before. I don’t think I’ve had so much fun going through an IQ test, probably because it has the game tag attached to it. So at times I am squashing bugs on one side while running away from a ghost on the other. Or maybe I would be calculating sums while floating through clouds simultaneously.

And since being superior in such abilities without being able to gloat about it is not just done, DexIQ is Plus+ enabled so that we can compare ourselves with others.

It is exciting to find out which part of our brain performs better than the other, sort of like a battle between the two sides of the brain. And, of course, it is a lot of fun pushing ourselves to the limit to prove that we are, well, not as dumb as others. The graphics are top-notch, and though this application falls under the Entertainment category, the 32 mini-games bring out the player in us. I would shell out $0.99 for such an engrossing application anyday.
