Off on an African Adventure on the iPhone with Photos Off The Wall
Okay, hands up, everyone who has been on an African safari? And how many people know what is or seen a Steenbok? Now, everyone who raised up their hands and also the other half who did not, here is an application for you – African Adventure. If we know anything even remotely about African wild life, this application is a good way to find out just how much. And also if we know zilch, African Adventure is here to teach us a thing or two about its abundant animal species.
The nice bit is that it doesn’t play out in a boring read-and-learn manner, but is set out in the form of a quiz. The quiz again is not a very hard task; in fact it’s quite a breeze. All the questions have a picture asking us to identify the animal in it. There are four options given for us to choose from; if we get it wrong the first time, we can submit another answer from among them.
There is an option below the picture of the animal that says Learn More. When we choose this feature, it opens up to reveal information about the animal. There is quite a whole lot of detailed content in there, laid out in a precise and clear manner. We simply have to press Continue to get on with the next question.
There are a few glitches in African Adventure. For example, there seems to be repetition in the series of questions. Further, I wish that there was a point system to add more challenge to the game play. I also don’t think the sunset qualifies as an animal, though the African sunset looks glorious. But inspite of these little drawbacks, the application is a great learning tool that would appeal to all ages. And yes, it has very good pictures that make an African Adventure come to life.

Hello and thank you for checking out our app. We are currently working on a bug fix for the duplicate questions. Also are going to be adding a scoring system. The update should be complete by the end of this week, then sent to apples review police.
