The first thing that strikes me about 40 Days – Lent Observance Tracker is the beautiful interface. It is well-laid out with easy to use tabs and pleasing images. Talk about pleasing, each time we open up the app, we are greeted with a motivational quote and picture to get the session started.
As Lent is traditionally marked by fasting, prayer and alms giving, the app helps us to keep track of all these three different activities. It is also about penance and giving up some acts as a sign of it, so whether we are holding back on the chocolates or swearing or ciggies, 40 Days helps us to know how well is our progress or otherwise.
