Drawing and painting on the iPhone goes pro with ArtStudio

The butterfly drawing I saw on the screen as soon as I launched the application took my breath away for two reasons. The first obvious reason is the image itself, so beautiful and colorful and professional looking. The second reason was the line beneath the image saying that it was created in the app I had just launched. That got me to thinking that I could probably come up with something like that too, and I got all excited. Thus went my foray into the ArtStudio from Lucky Clan.

ArtStudio is an application that lets us draw and paint top-notch images. The array of tools might seem a little intimidating at first for beginners, but the lessons included in the app should ease our nerves. It actually includes detailed instructions on how to create various types of images – 3D, animals, faces and human.

And as much as it is user-friendly for novices, it meets all the requirements for professionals to create pieces of art. For instance, ArtStudio has 25 kinds of brushes and 3 drawing modes. The color palate and modes of editing it are also amazing. The images that we create can also be filtered in a number of ways, including my favorite sepia tone. The application claims to be based on advanced mathematics; no wonder it has such precise and flawless functions.

ArtStudio has buttons at the bottom of the screen that open up to all the various features. This list can be hidden if we want. There is also a shake feature that brings up a menu of the features we use the most; very convenient, I would say. The works that we create can easily be stored in the picture gallery, imported, or be sent via email.

The cool thing about ArtStudio besides all its awesome and varied features is that it works without a hitch. Anyone can use it to create images according to their own skill set, and improve on it. It is as close as any application can get to Photoshop on the iPhone.
