Mazeness on the iPhone is one slippery game. The blobs that we have to guide to the right targets are not the easiest things to control. One wrong move and they slip off the edge of the playing field into oblivion.
There is not just one but two mazes that we have to navigate, and if that is not confusing enough, there are up to four balls in a level. The objective is not only to help the blobs reach their designated targets, but also to do it as fast as possible. If it is beginning to sound like an impossible mission, it is not so, for we have stoppers and crashed tiles at our disposal. We need to remember though that the latter can hold the blobs just once.
What we have to avoid are the fireblowers which spell doom for the blobs. Some levels have teleports which help the blobs to move from one side of the game field to the other if need be. If we are interrupted anytime while playing a game, we can use the pause button to do the same.
Mazeness has 44 levels of challenging mazes lined up for us. As expected, it gets increasingly difficult as we progress from one level to another. But trust me, it is a long way to go before we reach that 44th level, for the game play is tricky and we need to watch every move of ours. A fun and exciting game, Mazeness has all it takes to keep us hooked on it for hours.
