Thanks to iPad Developers – 10,000 Apps Already in the Appstore

Steve Jobs ushered about the rapid growth of iPad applications at WWDC 2010 keynote. The iPad appstore has now crossed 10,000 awesome applications which are ready for download. Credit should be given to so many iPhone and iPad application developers around the world for innovating and making the necessary changes to fill in the iPad Appstore so soon.

It would be heartening to hear for a iPad app developer that 28 days since its launch, Apple has already sold a million iPads with more than 1.5 million eBooks already been downloaded to the device along with 12 million apps. Continuing the legacy, the appstore has crossed its first five figure landmark of apps with many more applications pending approval.

One problem currently faced by many iPad developers is that the app approval time is quite high as Apple is busy getting few iOS4 compatible apps available before the big day arrives and iPhone 4 starts hitting the shelves. Well that is the only thing which worries iPad developers other than which they have more than a reason to be motivated.
