I’m seriously impressed with FaceTag. Granted, how well this iPhone app works largely depends on our sense of humor and creativity, but what we have in our hands opens up all the possibilities. This app from Mighty Excellent Posse allows us to tag pictures and make them say what we want it to. We can either capture an instant one or choose to tweak an existing picture in our photo library. We can use both landscape and portrait mode pictures.
I wasn’t kidding when I said I am impressed; I even thought that the tutorial is one of the crispest and clearest set of instructions I have seen on an app. There is no way we can go wrong using the app with such precise guidelines. Like I have already mentioned, we start off with selecting a picture, and then go about spicing it up. There are four different types of speech bubbles that we can choose from and place anywhere in the picture. These bubbles again have six to eight directions that it points to, and that just makes things so much more appropriate. The next step is to type the text in, and it’s good that we don’t have to stick to just one standard font but make our choice from several given.
FaceTag also lets us adjust and align the bubble like how we want it to be. Whether we want to move it around the picture or make it smaller, it is all done with simple controls. After we are done with our handiwork, the only thing left is to showcase it to the world on Facebook from within the app itself. Twitter is another platform where we can show off our masterpieces and spread some laughter. And of course, text or email it off to show people how much more fun and entertaining you made their pictures. If we don’t want to upload the picture right away, we can always find it later in the photo gallery where it gets saved automatically.
I suggest that you get your hands on FaceTag and go crazy with it. Pictures will never be the same again with this amazing app around.
