This is one slippery game! Slip Ball Huge from ThreeMonkeeSoft is full of mischievous fun, with a ball that is really hard to control but promises great rewards. It is all about whether we can make the ball go according to how we want it to, and how we do this is by simply tilting the device. Don’t be fooled by that sentence though, because it is a lot harder than it sounds, as I discovered when I played it.
Each of the hundred levels in Slip Huge Ball has a pathway that we have to guide the ball through, but that is not the only objective in the game. We have to collect five stars placed at different points, all the while making sure that we don’t slip off and get booted out of the game. There are also UFOs flying about, and we have to keep an eye on them to make sure that we don’t crash into them.
We clear a level once we gather all the five stars, and as we progress on to the next level, the ball gets more slippery and tricky too. The pattern of the pathway changes too with five different kinds of ‘worlds’, and so rest assured that the game play doesn’t get stale. The time factor also adds excitement to the game.
Slip Ball Huge has polished graphics that add great appeal to the game. It is based on a simple concept, and I like that it is not cluttered with too many features. It is one game that we can pick up and play anytime and have fun. Just make sure that the ball doesn’t slip out of our grasp.
