JumiOne is an app which made me feel the real power of my iPhone. In just one word if i can describe the app, i call it “Awesome “. The app is Free on iTunes App Store and makes use of the in-app purchases. The App has features called “apps” within the app which lets you control your computer from your very own iPhone in various possible ways. Control your music player , turn on a video by exploring the folder , see the computer screen just as you see on your monitor, right on your iPhone , use it as a presentation remote , use it as a joystick for playing games , watch what your computers cam is capturing from any corner of the world and lot more .

The app comes with few free features, most of them are lite or ad-supported version but it’s a nice way to get a feel of the app features and know what it’s exactly meant to do . For buying additional features you need to make in-app purchases.  The Free apps included are JumiAmp Lite , JumiCam Lite , Jumi Mouse and  Jumi Remotes . While premium apps include Jumi Mouse Plus, Jumi Presenter, Jumi Gamer, Jumi Fly, Jumi Cam and Jumi Amp which include additional features and give greater control over your computer’s functions without ads in the app .

Jumi Mouse is a free app , as the name suggests it gives you a complete control over your mouse functions like movement, left and right click and the vertical scroller . It just works like a notebook trackpad making use of the iPhone’s screen. The app also has option to display your computer screen live on the iPhone’s screen; this consumes bandwidth but is pretty useful when you want to see what you are controlling on your computer screen. This could be really useful to control anything you have on your computer. You can adjust the mouse and scrolling sensitivity according to your needs and make the experience more comfortable on your device .

With the JumiRemotes app you can control your iTunes, Master volume of computer, Winamp , PC num-pad and Windows Media player . With this you can access your media player controls like play/pause, Stop, repeat, shuffle, media player volume, next/previous track and forward/rewind function. The app comes for Free and is Ad-supported version. If you want to remove ads you can upgrade the app. The master volume can pull up or push down your volume level by 5%, mute it or set to maximum volume. I think the app will give you a brief overview on how JumiOne controls the functions on your computer.

The Jumi Gamer app is a nice alternative for gamers who have been using the Bluetooth/WiFi joysticks till now, the app not only gives you a joystick control but also gives the ability to control mouse, type anything from the keyboard within the app and see the screen of your monitor no matter how far you are from the monitor. This is an awesome feature for any gamer out there and geeks like me always love trying new things. Am just worried about the response of controls when the internet speed is low, but on a high speed 20Mbps line i found it super smooth.

I just loved the JumiAmp , its a feature that lets you control your iTunes or Winamp media player right from the mobile interface . I selected my songs from various hard disk locations, created a playlist, controlled play/pause , next track , previous track  and volume . You can also try the lite version of the JumiAmp called JumiAmp lite which gives you a knowledge of the feature but lags the playlist creation and hard disk explorefeature .

If you love presenting yourself to the world you will start loving JumiPresenter which helps you control your PowerPoint presentations with ease directly from your iPhone , making it work like a remote . This is something i have always been looking for , a portable remote which can control my presentations on any computer while i am in a meeting .

JumiCam helps you view you PC web-cams from anywhere in the world , all you need is just WiFi or 3G connection on your device and your computer connected to it .Make use of this feature as per your requirement , i used it to watch who is coming near my computer . And seeing people coming near my computer i turned on the JumiFly to capture their attention .

Jumi Fly a fun feature which allows you to play prank on people using your computer in many ways when you command the app to show the fly on screen by shaking it , it is shown on the computer screen where it follows mouse , you can change the mode which allows you to control fly movements via touch screen or accelerometer of your device  . The fly mode also has game with it , where in the fly is equipped with laser gun and limited lives to destroy all planes and make a high score . This was a real fun , i loved playing it on my computer screen , this can also work as a screen saver .

Overall i loved the app after spending a day and experimenting with it . The app is well built and tightly integrated with computer. If you are using any kind of remotes with your PC , this is the perfect alternative for you .
