If you are looking ahead to try out your luck with dice’s and you are a great fan of hockey. Dice Hockey is the perfect blend of dice based hockey game. Make your moves with points you gain in each dice throw. The game is pretty simple and the user just needs to direct the team players.
Dice hockey has two game modes namely Single player mode with single game and playoffs and Multiplayer game mode which allows you to play either on the same device alternatively or wirelessly with other users through their iPhone. You start with selecting the game mode and your country and opponent’s country. The game includes 22national teams from around the world and the same hockey rules are applicable within the game.
Both teams get turns alternatively and need to roll the dice to score points. According to the points scored on dice the numbers of moves are allotted. Now the user needs to decide on using them for movement, passes or a shoots. Double tapping on player pops up the options available for each player. At the top of the screen you can see the score, time remaining and number of moves left. Each time a player completes his turn the time gets deducted by 15 minutes. While a player is not allowed to move diagonally he can only move in straight lines until his moves last.
The game is a mix of luck and strategy on how to handle various situations in the game. Currently the game is available on iPod touch, iPhone and iPad for devices with iOS 3.1 or higher.
