Let Your Gestures Play It – iPhone Music App Review

Despite a decent music player that comes with the iOS ,  music lovers have been always hungry for the best experience on their most adorable device. To the matter of fact that thousands of music players have made their own room on the app store and won the hearts of users , we still find it difficult to ignore Play it for iPhone and iPad which was developed by a 17 year old individual developer Jeroen van Rijn from Holland.

The simple music player, more or the less does the same job but its unique selling point is way users will control it.  Apart from few setting button and menu’s Play it does not consist of any button. The music player is all about gestures. Though gestures take some time to become a part of your control interactions and have to be learned initially with the short instructions guide but just like the 4 and 5 fingers multitasking controls make your day much more easier on the iPad, in the same way Play it makes controlling your music an effortless experience.

Play it uses very natural gestures like swipe left or right to go to next or previous song, swipe up/down to increase/decrease volume, swiping right on list screen to go back, swiping on the same screen with two finger to go to main menu, tapping on the screen to switch between library and now playing view and much more.

Play it also lets you be a little social by allowing you to tweet the song you are listening or turn on auto tweeting to tweet the song you are listening to automatically. If your device supports air play and you have compatible speakers you can quickly use the feature with Play it app. The app also brings a few settings to customize the look and feel from the settings section .

Play it defiantly is a unique way to play music and requires less precision when compared to the tiny buttons you deal with in other apps every day. Specially on the iPhone, this can be a  good experience while you are driving or just don’t want to concentrate on the screen. Play it is a great app for iPhone users, but coming to the iPad interface , there’s not much to complain about the stock music player and its finally a users choice to listen music in his style. If you don’t miss the equalizer controls in your music app, Play it is good to take up as your next music player app on your iOS device.
