The game has two modes, in the campaign mode you follow the storyline, advance to new locations and meet new enemies and enemy bosses. While Multiplayer game mode gets you on a battle along with your friends using a common password that you share. You can also join other gamers in the public and wait for someone to play along with you in the multi-player game mode.
The game brings a lot of exciting elements in each level, be it new and powerful enemies, different types of barriers like flame throwers,hidden switches, brick walls and even power-ups that can make your attacks have a higher range, give you an extra life, turn you invisible and do much more. The game brings four different sceneries to game-in or rather four levels after which you enter the boss fight.
